COMPANY PROFILE Until early 1996, Iverson Gaming Systems (“IGS”) was a division of Iverson Associates*, a firm which has been developing customized software and providing solutions for the PC and minicomputer platforms since 1984. Among their clients are state and local governments, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies including IBM, DEC and Unisys. In 1994, Iverson Associates was contracted to develop data collection software for a casino in the Bahamas. This exposure to the Gaming industry prompted management to research that market, the end result being the creation of SLOTMaster, a slot and player tracking system with the unique feature of being able to transmit data through the existing electrical wires in a building. This feature makes a slot machine accessible to the computer by merely plugging it in. It is currently installed on Carnival Cruise Lines’ fleet of 21 ships. IGS received approval of the system by the Nevada Gaming Control Board in June 1998, and a patent on their system using Power Line Carrier communications in May, 2002. Since that time, Iverson has grown in size, capabilities and product line. With their experienced hardware design engineers, software engineers and expanded manufacturing facilities, Iverson is strategically positioned to acquire more market share. They have a site located in India for 24/7 software programming support, and negotiations are underway with a major computer manufacturer for specialized support. The company is currently expanding their product line and incorporating multi-lingual capabilities for a global reach. Joanne Iverson is the owner of both Iverson Associates and Iverson Gaming Systems. She started her career as a systems programmer with Sperry UNIVAC (now Unisys), eventually moving into banking where as Vice President of Electronic Funds Transfer Operations, she managed the installation and implementation of the first large ATM network in Philadelphia. She formed Iverson Associates when the bank was acquired by Pittsburgh-based Mellon Bank. *Iverson Associates is certified as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) by Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, North Carolina, Maine, South Carolina, and the City of Philadelphia.
